I grew up in the small, rural town of Patterson, CA with parents who are only 19 years older than I am, and later attended UCSD, where I studied Management Science and became the first person in my family to graduate from college! After working at UCSD's John Muir College, I enrolled in the Educational Leadership, Politics, and Advocacy program at New York University (NYU). I then moved to Washington, DC and oversaw all facets of the student life experiences of students at the NYU Washington, DC global academic program before relocating back to California, where I am now the Executive Assistant to the Dean and Communications Lead at San Jose State University's Lurie College of Education!
I also love to travel, take photos, exercise, and develop diverse and versatile skills. I asked my partner, Ashley, to marry me while we were on a vacation in Hong Kong and we recently married one another in Berkeley, CA, so I'm looking forward to us experiencing our life together as the Cheung Dooleys!
